Salinas, Calif. – January 27, 2026 – Pacific Valley Bank announced today the appointment of Jefferson Suruiz as Relationship Manager, serving business clients throughout the Monterey Peninsula.

In this role, Suruiz will work closely with local business owners, nonprofits, and professional service firms to provide customized lending solutions and relationship driven banking support aligned with Pacific Valley Bank’s community banking mission.

Suruiz brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial and consumer banking, having held roles including Personal Banker, Consumer Lender, Senior Commercial Underwriter, and Commercial Loan Officer. Before joining Pacific Valley Bank, he built his career with institutions including First National Bank, Monterey County Bank, and 1st Capital Bank. His background spans credit analysis, portfolio management, and business development, giving him a comprehensive perspective on serving clients at every stage of growth.

Known for his thoughtful and consultative approach, Suruiz focuses on understanding each client’s goals and delivering practical, well structured financial solutions that support long term stability and success.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from AMA University and is passionate about supporting initiatives that expand educational and economic opportunity.
